What to Eat Before Training

Protein is always a good idea before any kind of workout. However it's totally up to you whether you choose to drink a protein shake, add some powder to your smoothie, or eat a granola bar. There are plenty of options out there for you and we have made it that much easier to obtain the nutrients you need; all you have to do is stop by our smoothie shop before you hit the gym. We have vitamin packed smoothies, protein packed smoothies, and smoothies that are simply for your enjoyment. We like to keep our ingredients candid and natural, meaning that they are that much healthier for you.

 

Carbohydrates can also be an excellent idea for obtaining the energy you need to make it through your workout. Foods such as grains, certain fruits and vegetables (particularly bananas), and greek yogurt. We advise that you avoid bleached flour and stick to wheat as much as possible. Bleached flour turns to something similar to glue once it hits your intestines, slowing down your digestive track and ultimately working against your efforts to fine-tune your body.
